Welcome to the
Conquistadors The Conquistadors Performing Arts Association, Inc. has many major goals. The first of these goals is to bring competitive drum and bugle corps back to the Southern Tier of New York. When the Corporation was formed, it's single intent was to govern a drum corps. Since then we have shifted our focus towards a more balanced company that provides education in the arts through not only drum corps, but winterguard as well. The future also holds plans for several other performance ensembles. As of now our most important step into the world of drum and bugle corps is to establish a dedicated group of volunteers that will help build the corps. Our main push will be fundraising as it is not cheap to pull off a project of this magnitude. The winterguard program will help send the name out to the local community. If you are interested in helping with the drum corps in any capacity, please use the link above to access the winterguard membership form. Fill out the form by answering all of the questions. Very Important: We are using the same form to be cost effective. In order to distinguish that you are interested in the drum corps, please type the following into the last box on the form: Form for drum corps interest. This will help out administration sort out the different forms. Also, please feel free to join the organization mailing list o receive updates on all of the activity. Exciting News The Conquistadors have begun work with Stanbury Uniforms to design a state of the art uniform that also radiates old-style tradition. Production has already begun on our sample uniform. Until we can post pictures, please take a look at the concept drawing below:
